LinkedIn taps AI to make job recruiting easier for firms

LinkedIn taps AI

LinkedIn, the Microsoft-owned professional networking site,

announced on Tuesday that it would be adding new artificial intelligence features to its core businesses. These features will make it easier for recruiters to find job candidates and for marketing professionals to create ad campaigns.

One of the new features is a natural language processing tool that allows recruiters to find job candidates by asking questions in plain English. For example, a recruiter could ask the tool to find candidates with 10 years of experience in software development in San Francisco. The tool would then search LinkedIn's database and return a list of qualified candidates.

Another new feature is a marketing campaign builder that uses AI to create ad campaigns based on a company's website. For example, if a company sells business-to-business software, the tool could create a campaign targeting LinkedIn users who have visited the company's website and shown an interest in business-to-business software.

LinkedIn says that the new features are designed to help recruiters and marketing professionals save time and be more effective. The company also says that the features will make it easier for people to find jobs and learn about new products and services.

The new features are expected to be rolled out to LinkedIn users in the coming months.
